Entry into Woodlands School is via the Local Authority Panel who decides whether Woodlands School can provide the education your child requires.
Prior to pupils starting with us, if you would like to view our school, parents are welcome to make an appointment to visit Woodlands where they will be given a tour and can discuss the needs of their child and what the school has to offer.
If parents decide that they wish their child to have a place at Woodlands School, the Authority will make the necessary arrangements. All pupils entering Woodlands will have a statement of Special Educational Needs.
Pupils who start at Woodlands School can be provided with a series of transition days and/or sessions to make the procedure as easy and fluid as possible. This will give new pupils the time they need to get to know the staff and their peers.
