Some children do not respond to the universal provision made for all children to encourage good behaviour, or even to targeted intervention for groups. These children will require specifically designed behaviour plans and targets carefully developed to meet their individual needs.
An IBP is a process not a piece of paper. The process needs to be summarised on paper to ensure consistency and to keep all involved informed. It is only effective if the strategies and provisions are appropriately identified, consistently applied and progress effectively monitored, communicated and rewarded.
Our IBPs are evaluated every term or as/when critical incidents occur. This os overseen by Assistant Headteacher Mr A Ellis.
