Through a combination of summative and formative assessment, at Woodlands we make a conscious effort to recognise our more able and talented individuals. Pupils are identified as being MAT if they achieve more than 80% of NC3. These pupils are expected to be working at and eventually achieve Entry Level 3 or equivalent
Our intention is that following their identification, the student is provided with sufficient provision enabling them to progress within a particular area of learning and experience to their full potential. These particular individuals will have the opportunity to gain a number of Entry level qualifications and undertake a range of work experience in order to prepare them for their lives beyond Woodlands.
